I realized today that I think something is getting lost in all the discussion about “User Experience”. What is lacking is the understanding of having a great concept when trying to engage users. I come out of a traditional creative background where the concept was King.
I still believe that you must have a concept before you create the design. Concept is about meaning. If it’s not meaningful, no one will care about it. So much activity now centers on “design” but design without meaning is vapid. Understanding what your audience wants and addressing their needs with meaningful, interesting, humorous, unique, and different ideas is key. Anything else is just a waste of time and resources.

Thank you! It’s a work in progress, appreciate your support.
Cool blog!
Happy to end up being going to your site again, it has been weeks for me personally. Nicely, this is actually the article that I have already been waited for so long. Thanks,
Thank you so much! I’m in the process of developing this blog and will be adding a newsletter soon with same type of content and more photos for the blog as well. Please let me know if you have more ideas you want to share or discuss. I appreciate your support.
Its like you study my mind! You appear to find out so a excellent offer about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I believe that you could do with some pics to drive the message home only a tiny bit, but other than that, this could be excellent blog.
